Doneskh National Medical University
Kirovograd Donetsk National Medical University or kirovohrad Medical Institute (abbreviated as DonNMU or DNMU) is one of the largest medical university of the former USSR. The University is considered as one of the best medical schools in Ukraine. University is relocated in Kirovograd city now from Donetsk due to the war in Donbass.
Kharkiv National Medical University
Kharkiv is the second largest city of Ukraine by its size and population. It is the biggest industrial, scientific and cultural center of the country. This city was founded in the 17th century (1654-1656). Till the turn of 1930s it was the capital of Ukraine. Population of the city numbers over 2 million people.

Kyiv Medical University of UAFM or Kiev Medical University of UAFM official website www.knmu-edu.com.ua is a Ukrainian higher learning institution. Established in 1992, the university has trained over 10,000 health personnel—mainly general practitioners, dentists and pharmacists. As of August 2014, about 1000 foreign students study at KMU.
Odessa National Medical University
Odessa National Medical University “ONMU” is the largest Medical University of Ukraine and one of the Oldest Medical University of Eastern and Western Europe. Medical Faculty was opened on the 1st of September , 1900 in Odessa under the Great Russian Imperial University “Novorossysk University”. In 1922 Medical Faculty of Novorosisk University in Odessa was reformed and was given the Status of Higher medical Institution and was renamed to “Odessa Medical Institute”. After independence of Ukraine in 1993 Odessa medical Institute was given the highest 4th level of Accreditation and was renamed to “Odessa State Medical University” and in 1997 got the National status and was renamed to “Odessa National Medical University”.
Sumy State University Medical School, Ukraine
Sumy State University is located in Sumy city in the North-East of Ukraine. Its history began in 1948. Today, SSU is a leading university of a classical type with the III-IV accreditation level in the region.
The University currently serves more than 16,000 students who are pursuing pre bachelor, bachelor, specialist and master degrees in 45 majors and 21fields of knowledge according to the list of majors 2015. About 1300 foreign students represent more than 50 countries worldwide.
Ternopil State Medical University (Ukrainian: Тернопiльський державний медичний університет) is a medical university located in the city of Ternopil in Ukraine.The institute was founded in 1957. In 1997 it received the status of medical academy, and in 2004 that of a university.

The University of Kharkiv (Ukrainian: Харківський університет) or officially the Vasyl Karazin Kharkiv National University(Ukrainian: Харківський національний університет імені В. Н. Каразіна) is one of the major universities in Ukraine, and earlier in the Russian Empire and Soviet Union. It was founded in 1804 through the efforts of Vasily Karazin becoming the second oldest university in modern-day Ukraine after the University of Lviv.
