About France

Living in France

How to apply?

Admission Process

If you are interested to study in France and do not reside in the European Union, the following procedure must be followed to apply for the admission

  • An application to the school that you wish to attend should be downloaded from the official website and fill it and mail it back to the university with the following documents:
  • Transcripts: From all the previous institutions that you have attended.
  • International students must provide a copy of their passport as well as a photograph of passport size to the school in which they are applying for admission into.
  • Some colleges require that essays be written based on various topics given by the colleges.
  • You will also be required to submit proof of English proficiency which is obtained through a TOEFL test.
  • A photo copy of your birth certificate is required when you apply to a French university which is translated into English language

Visa application

The Visa application is charged depending on the country from which you apply and you must have a passport which is valid for a period of three months past your expiration date of the requested party. You must fill an application that you sign and must be submitted along three photographs with the application.

For a Visa application to be approved it might take up to two months so you will want to submit all of the necessary information as quickly as possible before you plan to leave. If your Visa is approved it will be issued and you will receive it within a short time.
